STARTING FROM BREAKFAST
 

We carried out a survey at our school to find out the dietary habits of children of our age regarding breakfast. The results are the following:

We found out that only a small percentage of children follow the rules of a proper breakfast.

During sleep you body consumes energy to sustain its vital functions. Difficulty in walking and the feeling of wekness warn us that our energy reserves are depleting. So now is the time to replenish them with a well balanced and healthy breakfast.

 

And this because with a proper brekfast you:

·       consume at least 25% of your daily needs in energy and nutritional substances.

·       you avoid the 11 o' clock consuption of cheese - pies, croissant, chocolates and sandwiches which are usually high in fat content.

·       you don't feel hungry and you avoid eating for two at lunchtime.
